Yuki is an initiative established “by and between” a set of sport-loving, socially-conscious friends who believe that sport can break down barriers, build trust, and be socially inclusive. A passion for sport, personal experience, know-how, and close sports ties have resulted in an initial idea, born as a simple conversation, being transformed into Yuki.

GOAL 15: Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems

Forestami is a project promoted by the Metropolitan City of Milan, the Municipality of Milan, the Regional Council of Lombardy, Parco Nord Milano, Parco Agricolo Sud Milano, ERSAF (Regional Agency for Agricultural and Forestry) and Fondazione di Comunità Milano, which involves the planting of 3 million trees by 2030 in order to clean the air, improve living conditions in the wider area of the city of Milan, and counter the effects of climate change. This project is the outcome of the research carried out by the Politecnico di Milano and the support of Fondazione Falck and FS Sistemi Urbani. Close collaboration between all the promoters has made it possible to achieve a strategic view on the role of greenery in the metropolitan area of Milan and to start a process of registering, enhancing and implementing all green infrastructures with trees, in order to promote urban forestry projects and policies as well as the construction of a Metropolitan Park in Milan.
