On April 6, 2022 the Bank of Italy published a consultation document regarding the acquisition or change in qualified shareholdings (i.e., equal to or greater than 10, 20, 30, 50% of the share capital or voting rights or such as to confer significant influence or control) in banks, financial intermediaries, trust companies, IMELs, IPs, SIMs, asset managers, SICAVs and SICAFs.
